Stefan Marx "Keep it Like a Secret" Exhibition at Salt and Pepper
We're very excited to announce that Stefan Marx will be doing an exhibition in Tokyo called "Keep it Like a Secret". It has been a while since Stefan last visited Japan making this a very special show. November 23rd is the grand opening at Salt and Pepper @saltandpepper223 where he will also be there!
Seen for the first time in Japan will be his canvas paintings as well as his latest handmade zine. Come take a look!

Berlin-based artist, Stefan Marx, creates drawings that show his fascination not only in the world of skateboarding, fashion and music, but also art and people in public. His unique art style is instantly recognisable and his drawings contain elements that are continuously loved by his audience. He will not stop drawing what he loves!
You may have seen his typography works, but many of his pieces showing his love for animals and aeroplanes have been published in magazines around the world, his own books, zines, music cover art, posters and more. His work has also made contributions to several brand campaigns.
His T-Shirt brand "Lousy Livin' Company" is sold globally and his exhibited works have been seen worldwide. Books and zines published by Swiss Art Publisher, Nieves, are most familiar and recognised worldwide.
ステファン・マルクスはベルリンを拠点に活動しているアーティストです。スケボー、ファッション、音楽の世界のみならずアートや街の人々まで魅了する数々のドローイング作品を手掛けています。一度見た人は、その後ステファンの絵を見かけた時にすぐに彼の作品だと分かります。それ位彼の作品はオリジナリティーに溢れていて、どこか人を魅了する要素を持ち合わせているのです。ステファンは愛するものを描き続けてきており、それは止まる事を知りません。
ステファンが描くタイポグラフィーの作品を見たことがある方も居るかもしれませんが、彼が愛する動物、飛行機などを始めとして多くの作品は世界各国の雑誌、自身が作成している本、ジン、ミュージック・レーベルのカバーアート、ポスターや様々の会社とのキャンペーンなどに起用されています。
自身のTシャツレーベル『ラウジー・リビン・カンパニー』は世界各国で販売されており、ステファンが作成しているアートが世界各国で展示されています。スイスのアート出版会社ニーブスから出る本やジンはお馴染みです。
