Meguru Yamaguchi POP UP STORE in Taipei

GOLD WOOD ART WORKS was founded by Meguru Yamaguchi, an institution where artists gather and pursue their own creativities and explore possibilities of expression by integrating and inspiring each other’s practices and approaches.

Its members includes Rei Nakanishi and Rihomi Sato who realize whether it’s solo or group shows, national museum programme or art festival participation, it’s important to focus on their latest works; organizing collaborations with external clients for projects including BEAMS T, FENDI, Tokyo National Museum, UNIQLO, and X Games CHIBA at physical sites, online, or in digitalize Metaverse are also part of their practices.

This time, GOLD WOOD ART WORKS @goldwoodartworks opens special stores in Asia region in association with Soak the Project @soak_theproject by Soak Art Tokyo @soak__art , which allows visitors to have opportunities to directly access and understand the diversity of Gold Wood Art Work’s practices.

GOLD WOOD ART WORKS’ POP UP STORE, opens on November 25th and 26th in Da’an District in Taipei, in celebration for the launch of OUT OF BOUNDS, the first art book publication by Meguru Yamaguchi @meguruyamaguchi

In-store dub sound is selected reflecting favour of Yamaguchi’s father Katsuzo @v3yama20xx , and, full version of “fɔrε” (forest) by Reli (Rei Nakanishi @reinakanish ) is also streamed.

Exclusive items are also to be released, including apparels designed by Yamaguchi himself, special apparel collection with his mother @0008infinity who has exquisite street-style, artworks by artist’s father Katsuzo @v3yama20xx and more.

In early 2024, The POP UP store will open in Hong Kong, following by major cities in Mainland China.
